At Suwanee Town Center Park, CGS Contractors delivered a package of infrastructure work for the City of Suwanee: work inside the park’s pedestrian tunnel, new conduits, structural support for a public art installation, concrete repairs and renovations, and new drainage.
Around the park’s water feature and pedestrian bridge, the crew removed damaged concrete, graded the base, set forms and poured new walkways and curb ramps with tactile warning pavers. To manage stormwater, the team excavated trenches and installed perforated PVC drainage lines over geotextile fabric, backfilled with gravel. Inside the pedestrian tunnel, new concrete was placed along the tunnel wall while the route stayed safely marked for visitors.
Suwanee Town Center Park is a central gathering place in downtown Suwanee, and the finished photos show why: wide walkways, the water feature and the elevated pedestrian bridge all come together in one space. It is a project CGS is proud of. See the complete renovation of Suwanee Town Center Park for the full story.
