CGS Contractors was called to a residential home in Lilburn, Georgia after the homeowner noticed a large interior wall crack and a door that would no longer close properly — both signs of foundation movement. A tree had also compromised the structural integrity of the left side of the home, accelerating the damage.
CGS performed a full foundation stabilization along the affected wall, excavating down to the footings to install helical piers — which clip directly onto the home’s footer to permanently support and stabilize the structure. While on-site, CGS also applied preventative waterproofing to protect the foundation from future moisture damage. The entire project was completed in approximately one week.
This project is a strong example of CGS’s ability to diagnose structural warning signs early and deliver a fast, permanent solution before damage escalates.
